sling reccomendations please

my DD is 5 months old and about 18lb. i am currently using a didymos which i like but as DD is very high needs for close physical contact i think i may be wearing her for a while yet. i am looking for a sling/carrier that will be cooler than the didymos for summer. any reccomendations please?

My favourite was a ring sling i made with a thin crinkly fabric. Wow for 5 months and 18 lbs!

a Girasol wrap is thinner than a didymos but has the same style of weave so still v. supportive for an older baby. You can also get a shorter wrap and do ruck carries (on back) which means less fabric as 'bandage' for both of you.

thanks everyone. i quite fancy a mai tei so i have 2 different types of carrier, i am looking at getting a babyhawk as they seem to have good reviews
