M&S sale; cashmere sold out

The last few years, I tried to buy cashmere knitwear in the M&S sale but always been disappointed because they were sold out.
I believe their Sale starts on Boxing Day. This morning, about 12.30 - 1 am, I searched the Sale but found the cashmere was already sold out in my size (one of the larger ones).
Does anyone know what you need to do to successfully buy cashmere in the M&S sale - or is there never really any in the sale?

The M&S sale starts on Christmas Eve, so you might have been too late.

You need to go on Christmas Eve in the morning, I bought 2 sale bras at 10:30am on the 24th and I think it had been on for an hour or two then

Oh, that explains it, thanks. Do you know what time on Christmas Eve? I thought I checked it on the 24th.

It didn't say sale but when I looked stuff was in the sale but it just hadn't been put in sale category so I just checked the stuff I was interested in and it was in the sale, also if you put the things you want in your saved items/wishlist you can easily check if it's in the sale

Just go into the shop tomorrow- the big one local to me always has loads left.

I got mine a few years ago at Cheshire Oaks, was loads.

Got mine online in the sale on Xmas Eve in the late afternoon, checked the same item yesterday and sold out. Going to physically go to the shop tomorrow and see what other cashmere they have in store.

I think the sale starts at about seven in the morning on Christmas Eve. Like others have said, it wasn't labelled as a sale yet, you just had to check individual items.
