Arrrrggggghhhhh!!!!
I am at the end of my tether with parcels not being delivered / going missing / being "delayed" by couriers!!!
I am still waiting for a dress for my Christmas party to arrive which has been circulating the Royal Mail sorting offices for over 2 weeks now (I have accepted it's not going to arrive by tomorrow but fuming as I loved it and now I have to drag something out of my wardrobe that I've probably worn loads before). I even went to the local delivery office who were no help whatsoever!
DPs main Christmas present arrived earlier. Well I say arrived. UPS pulled up outside the gates, gave me approximately 10 seconds to get to the door before they drove off (I kid you not) and then sent me a "sorry we missed you" text. They'll be back tomorrow apparently for more of the same.
Amazon kindly left one of my gifts (a cookbook - in a cardboard box) on the doorstep in the pissing down rain at weekend so currently waiting for a refund on that as it's completely ruined.
Another present is completely MIA since last week despite me paying for next day delivery.
I'm spending most of my working day on "live chats" to robots trying to sort all this shit out (good job work is quiet) so that my friends and family at least get some presents.
Anyway that's it. Rant over. Next year I am going back to old school and buying direct from shops.
Anyone else experiencing this??? I honestly have never had such a run of bad service and stuff going missing?!
