I have been looking at the fisher price soothing motions glider as some of the others seem a little to upright and like a car seat for my liking! The glider seems quite reclined, however ds is a large chap and I am wondering whether it will be too small for him, he's very long 6 wks old and 13lb. Really need something to help him settle in the day as he loved being rocked!

i had a fisher price take-along swing.
was extremely useful and worth its weight in gold.

I had the Fisher price takealong aquarium swing for when I was minding my niece and found it fantastic. It had a sort of light show above it.
Definitely worth the money. Although I think it was only 50euro

We had a Graco swing. Really useful.

We've got a Graco.
Its a bit old but its being used by my 3rd child now.

Both ds's love/d it and it is good at getting them to sleep.
The seat on it can go to different heights so they dont have to be bolt upright.
