If I buy a cotbed with fixed sides, will I regret it?

I did, and I don't!

I bought one with dropable sides and haven't dropped them once. oo-er missus!

My sister said that when she was very pg with no 2 the drop sides came in handy when putting no 1 to bed.

NO, IF you are tall enough to be able to bend down and pick up a baby/child that's lying down. I'm 5 foot 4 inches and it was mainly okay.

POSSIBLY, if you are going to get pregnant again before this one is out of the cot ... I did just fine with a fixed side cot until I was pregnant again and then once the bump got to a certain size I found it quite tricky to lean over to pick up DD1.

Excellent, will do it then. I'm tall, and if I get pregnant again DP can deal with DD's bedtimes! Thanks all.

We didn't regret it. You have to live with the things so long, we chose we liked the look of [shallow emoticon]
