If I buy a cotbed with fixed sides, will I regret it?

My sister said that when she was very pg with no 2 the drop sides came in handy when putting no 1 to bed.

NO, IF you are tall enough to be able to bend down and pick up a baby/child that's lying down. I'm 5 foot 4 inches and it was mainly okay.

POSSIBLY, if you are going to get pregnant again before this one is out of the cot ... I did just fine with a fixed side cot until I was pregnant again and then once the bump got to a certain size I found it quite tricky to lean over to pick up DD1.

im 4ft 11 and never had one with drop sides with dd or ds and was pregnant when using it with dd iykiwm..

Yeah, I had to stand on tippi toes but not "the end of the world" issue iykwim
