I have been using a clarins one which I have liked but have been coming out in a few spots on my forehead since using it, not good at my age What have you tried & loved and are never going to use anything else again?

I keep coming back to Avene's very mild cleanser.

I use Lush's ultra bland, but with muslin cloths, not cotton wool (doesn't take cleanser off thoroughly). is brilliant. I did use Eve Lom for a while, which is the best cleanser in the world ever ever ever, and although it's £40 a pot, the pot will last for 6 months. Lush one is (slightly) cheaper for nearly as good, at about £5 for a pot that lasts nearly a month.

I use Boots No7 eye make up remover followed by Clean and Clear face wipes to combat zits!

Can't be doing with this washing face to cleanse at night as I have a shower anyway.

My aunt works for Estee Lauder and she has given me all sorts of cleansers as well as Rubenstein ones and Lancome ones but I always go back to the wipes as I get spots with anything else!

As recommended on here Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. Lovely!

Lauriefairycake · 29/04/2008 12:09

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish always

MrsMattie · 29/04/2008 12:14

I need water. Can't be doing with cream cleansers. I used the Clarins one for years, but my skin suddenly started reacting badly to it. I've been using a cheapo Olay face wash for a while now, but have ordered the Liz Earle one with muslin cloth after using some of my friend's. I've heard the Eve Lom one is good, but I don't spend big bucks on cleansers, ever. Moisturisers, maybe.

alfielooloo · 29/04/2008 12:56

Fancy the Eve Lom one, but a bit too pricey at the mo, got swimming lessons to pay for this week

Liz earle although any decent creamy cleanser taken off with a really hot flannel works for me.best flannels asda 19p white ones

Anchovy · 29/04/2008 13:10

The Eve Lom one really is the dogs bollocks though, and it lasts absolutely for ages. I've tried the Liz Earle one and I don't think it is anywhere near as good.

FYIAD · 29/04/2008 13:13

or primark do 4 flannels for a pound

Eev lom is fantastic, liz earle no better than the tesco one IMO

Mikafan · 29/04/2008 13:40

The Water Comfort One Step is the one I use, it feels and smells lovely

hopefully · 29/04/2008 13:48

I had liz earle before eve lom, and although I found it great, I also found it didn't last that long, so worked out really expensive. But that was my first introduction to that kind of cleanser, so maybe I was using too much...

PuppyDogTails · 29/04/2008 13:50

This Lancome one

alfielooloo · 29/04/2008 15:48

Oooh am being drawn towards the Eve Lom one now. I am going to look on tinternet to see if I can find it any cheaper

£48 plus free delivery for Eve Lom cleanser on John lewis website. I'm tempted, but will resist. I'm saving up for massive 'Bonus Time' splurge on Clinique stuff...
