Where are you? There's a fab shop here in Manchester, really good customer service and cheap.
Otherwise, I've bought stuff from groovystyle- they were good, rang me to say what day it would come etc. Only accessories though- never bought a whole pram from them!

ButterflyMcQueen · 27/04/2008 21:51

i am leeds so it is possible!

pinkyminky · 27/04/2008 22:17

Manchester store is Lesters Nurseryworld on Cheetham Hill road here don't know how the price compares to online, but I rate their customer service very highly.

I got my phil and ted a few months ago online from babyproductsatbabyprices. I actually got it via ebay, but they have a website too, It was £350 for the lot with doubles kit, cocoon, raincover. It was quick delivery and I had no problems.

ButterflyMcQueen · 27/04/2008 23:20

oxfordpramcentre

Kathyis6incheshigh · 28/04/2008 16:23

Got mine from Mothercare online and they were a pain - took ages to come. Would not recommend them.

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 28/04/2008 16:28

I got mine from www.icbaby.com. Cheapest online at the time and fast delivery and great when I phoned up to say that they hadn't sent the pannier bags I'd paid for. Gave my money back straight away, and then I discovered them inside the pram after all . This was nearly two years ago though.

littleducks · 28/04/2008 16:32

stick to mothercare! had bad experience with independent shop when i bought icandy cherry, so at least you know they will look after you, they sent of my maclaren for repairs after it was fire damaged and good customer service.
Order online with discount code af8 for 10% discount and there is free delivery anyway.
i am waiting for mine to arrive!

we actually ordered instore but as wanted to check it would fit in boot but they applied the code anyway.

dizzymac · 28/04/2008 16:35

I can second the vote for Lesters. We travelled from Brighouse to there for prams. It's not far off J18 of M62.

ButterflyMcQueen · 28/04/2008 17:00

mothercare actually works out considerably more expensive

lesters will ship it to leeds for me inclusive of double p and t and rainhood for £330

whereas mothercare is £418 even with free shipping ..

i am a terrbile libran still cannot make up mind

ButterflyMcQueen · 28/04/2008 17:02

grrrrr ( at self) then there is practical pushchairs who come in at £354....

they can do blue and lesters charge more for blue!

OP posts:
pinkyminky · 28/04/2008 17:47

I wouldn't do mothercare. I'd choose between lesters and this practical pushchairs place. I'd go for the reral shop option, in fact, it's a lot of money to spend without seeing a real person.

pinkyminky · 28/04/2008 17:48

ooh it's make your mind up time! I love getting new prams.

BirdyArms · 28/04/2008 17:49

I bought mine from practical pushchairs and was really pleased with them - it came really quickly and they called ahead to arrange a convenient delivery time. Also recommended them to a friend who had a similar good experience.

littleducks · 28/04/2008 18:16

its £418 without using the discount 10% is then £40 off that, i just checked the code it is still working (press apply to check it before you put in card details in order section it comes up even though section is below card bit IYSWIM)

pinkyminky · 29/04/2008 21:14

How did you get on, Butterfly?
