Buggy to fit in the boot of a MINI

A friend has to fold down both backseats of her MINI to get her travel system in. (Her son travels in the front as the airbag has been deactivated)

She would like a buggy which fits in the boot of her car, but preferably one which reclines.

Any ideas?!?

I have a bebe confort loola which fits into the boot of my ford KA and my mazda MX5 both tiny boots and very stupid family cars.....

quinny zapp folds to tiny, but doesn't recline so no good for sleeps, but it takes the maxi cosi car seat.

jennie loola does not fit in a mini! MIL has a mini and I have had a few trips in it being crushed by the loola on the back seat!

I think the M&P Luna in reputed to fit in a mini. At least most of its marketing campaign seems to be based on that.

I think my cousin had a mamas and papas aria when she had a mini, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hi there, interested to find this message, we've got a mini and discovered that SILs pliko that she was gonna give us does not fit in boot of mini. Hubby likes look of buzz but I don't think it will fill in, i am thinking of bugaboo bee and will watch avidly to see if anyone has any other ideas? I have had a zapp for my older son but that was rubbish! Did fit in the car though

Loola is the only one that fits into the boot of my polo (can't imagine that it is much bigger than a mini).

geordieminx · 27/04/2008 20:48

Would say Aria or Luna.

Def not Loola - I have one and it only just fits in my focus. The aria is good as it folds square as opposed to long?

geordieminx · 27/04/2008 20:48

Polo boot lot bigger than a mini - used to have one of those too (polo)

Yes I was told by M&P that the Luna was designed to fit in the boot of a Mini. Bloody didn't fit in the boot of a Polo, though, did it? And fell apart after three uses...grumble grumble...

An Aria will fit in the boot of a Smart car so will definitely fit in a mini!
