Dd1 bought me a lovely one for my birthday a couple of years ago and i really love it. Trouble is its full now and i cant bring myself to smash it!

Don't smash it tudorrose.

Use a screwdriver to 'flip' it open.

Then stick a tealight inside once it's empty.

Buy a new one and start re-saving.
