£369 mirror arrived with 2 chips

Just had a very large mirror delivered and it's beautiful, but it has 2 quite noticeable chips. I got 25% discount as I bought two (different) mirrors, but I didn't expect to get a damaged product. Is this just normal with mirrors or should it be perfect?

Not normal, no, and certainly for that price it should be perfect.
Are you happy with that discount, or would you prefer a perfect mirror, or complete refund? You could ask for either.

Thanks, I've emailed them to ask what my options are. Although 25% was a good discount, I'd have had that discount with a perfect mirror, so I'd want a further discount to keep it. I think I could live with the chips as it's a vintage style mirror, but not sure as my eyes are constantly drawn to them. Will see how I feel after a couple of days looking at it.

Is it a unique piece or could they send you another?

FizzyPopGal · 27/10/2024 10:56

The 25% multibuy discount is irrelevant.

Your item is damaged and you should be able to return it.
Or if it's salvageable you should get a further discount.

Was it sold as damaged? If not, and it was sold as perfect then you have the right to a perfect mirror regardless of the cost. Get in touch with them asap.

Not unique, but I've just had a look and it's now sold out (for now).

No, the discount was for buying two pretty expensive mirrors. I'll wait and see how they respond.
