Can anyone help ?
This year I’m really struggling with buying gifts for people (money isn’t an issue) I’m just struggling to find gifts suitable for people.
I’ll have a 6 month old daughter when Christmas comes around and I honestly don’t even know where to start with getting her gifts - I know she won’t understand Christmas but with it being her first I want to make it special.
I also have an 11 year old nephew who is impossible to buy for - he isn’t into any sports, TV shows, music or anything that a normal 11 year old would be into. Every year I seem to just buy him clothes but I’ve found I never actually see him in the clothes that I buy him.
Normally I love Christmas but this year I just don’t seem to be in the mood for it 🤦🏼‍♀️

11 year old a voucher or money he's old enough to pick something.

6 month old toys she can grow into, a cardboard box (I kid you not) or a special jewellery like a Pandora bracelet you can add to every Xmas/birthday honestly she'll appreciate it when she's older.

I second the cardboard box. I bought my daughter a ride on toy one year. She rarely used it but she loved crawling in and out of the box. Later we turned the box into to a fort.

Oh my god I never thought about the Pandora bracelet idea that’s amazing ! Every birthday and Christmas buying another charm to add too it and then give it to her on a special birthday/Christmas when she’s older . Thank you so much !

I think books are lovely for babies and you can buy some special ones which she can enjoy as she gets older. There are some really beautiful Christmas books around, or wonderful collections of books which she can enjoy for years. I bought my son all the Julia Donaldson books, Hairy McClary series and lots of lovely lift the flap etc Also things like sets of Roald Dahl for when he was older. Something special like a wooden dolls house might be nice too as again it’s something you can add too and she’ll enjoy as she gets older. I tend to get other people’s children pyjamas, I find then even if I don’t know their clothing taste they can still get worn. Add a game and/or chocolate sweets type gift as I do know pjs are a bit dull, children seem happy with this. I’ll try and add some links

I wouldn’t go with the braclet. It may mot be to her adult tastes. I have gold jewellery bought for me as a child, I have no idea what to do with it now.
