We’ve got an Ohme one that was fitted by motability and it’s easy to use and we’ve had no problems with it.

Easy to get obsessed by this.

Fundamentally, its just a plug socket with a fancy switch inside unless theres a specific 'smart' feature you need. If you dont, pick whichever you like the look of, and get one with a cable so you dont have to fish around in your boot in a blizzard, or coil a wet cable up to take it with you.

I went tesla as it opens the charging flap with a button on the handle, if you have solar there are some that integrate betyer than others. If you're going to use a differential rate tariff like octopus agile, they have a list of compatible smart chargers.

I have a MyEnergi Zappi, installed by a local electrician. I've had no problems with it.

Thanks all and how much did you pay installation included?
