Please help make this wearable in winter

Hi, I am going to a wedding in November in Scotland. I want to wear this Ted Baker dress but need something to make it more suitable for the cold weather that's suitable for indoors. It's a silky material so I think probably nothing too chunky. TIA 🥰

I was a bridesmaid for my sister in an Edinburgh November. It was mainly indoors but for the arriving and departing bits I wore my favourite denim jacket with a big 'fur' collar from amazon pinned on!

I don't expect this to start a trend but I felt a million dollars and got so many compliments!
