Where is the UK's Best - not biggest Primark?

I'm wondering where the best Primark is in the UK? And what makes it the best? I find the big ones overwhelming.

What do you mean by best? I think that bigger Primarks are more likely to have their full product range and all sizes available so are best.

Banbury gate shopping park
Ventura retail park Tamworth
Basically any of the out of town ones where it’s easy to park!

Shoemadlady · 17/10/2024 15:35

Birmingham is a flagship store, it's brilliant

Needmorelego · 17/10/2024 15:38

@Jw00517 where are you in the country?
The Banbury one mentioned above is pretty good (It's at the "Gateway" shopping complex) but I also like one that's in Greenwich Peninsula Shopping in South East London.
I live in London but have family in Banbury which is why I use both 😂
Bromley in SE London is pretty good too.
Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road in central London are portals to hell 😂

Needmorelego · 17/10/2024 15:39

Birmingham is the biggest in the universe apparently.
If you don't like big - don't go there.

Don't tell everyone about the Banbury Primark!

That's mu local one. It's relatively peaceful, even on weekends, parking is free and they usually have a decent range of stuff.

twilightcafe · 17/10/2024 15:42

The Birmingham one gives me a headache - it's so big.

The Oxford Primark is pretty good: must be because there are so many students living in the city.

RareitySparkles · 17/10/2024 15:44

Lakeside

Kingston

However the one down by Mable Arch is good too

CabraCadabra · 17/10/2024 15:44

I actually don't like the bigger newer ones. I think our smaller one has loads more crammed in. I wasn't impressed with Birmingham at all

BobbyBiscuits · 17/10/2024 15:45

I used to like using the one in Hackney but it's a bit messed up now I think. The big ones in the west end are quite scary. It really is massively overwhelming. I feel like a fight could break out in the queue. Last time I was with my disabled mum and these two Italian girls, bold as brass, just cut right in front of us in the line. Then pretended they did it by accident.
Yeah, I'm a bit freaked out by Primark now. I don't think I could physically handle it!

ARichtGoodDram · 17/10/2024 15:46

One of the ones that does click and collect

itsgettingweird · 17/10/2024 16:05

I went to the one in Westfield Stratford at Easter - I found it great but yes - too big!

My favourite one is in Winchester. Nice and small but sells what I need when I visit twice a year!

EngineEngineNumber9 · 17/10/2024 16:06

Glasgow Argyle Street is brilliant. Used to live ten minutes’ walk from it and I would go at opening time when they got their Christmas stock in.

Nasyan · 17/10/2024 16:08

Our one at Rushden Lakes is always quite tidy and doesn't have much of the smell of cheapness

GroovyChick87 · 17/10/2024 16:24

Liverpool, large, well stocked, has the Greggs cafe and the beauty salon.

MorrisZapp · 17/10/2024 16:25

Edinburgh Princes Street. It's clean, well organised and well staffed.

Spinet · 17/10/2024 16:27

I like the Tottenham Court Road one because the Greggs Cafe is quiet and has really good air conditioning. I wait for my kids in there with a book.

pavillion1 · 17/10/2024 16:37
