Hi all, so I have being a long time watcher but never posted!
I am in my early 40's & 5ft to the button.
I'm 9st so a size 10 but very top heavy.
I really need to find a dress for my daughter's graduation in November and finding it difficult so far.
Being 5ft patterns and oversized do not suit but I don't want extra clingy as I'm not skinny skinny as 5ft makes me look more dumpy unfortunately.
I'm not super confident and don't want too short or strappy being bigger busted.
Budget of £150 if anyone can help?
Saw a fab dress posted from a viewer on another post earlier from Next(navy) but not in stock in petite so I'm really looking for some help.
Please nothing oversized or pattered all over if possible.. really appreciate your help folks!

I wore what I was comfortable in.
I think that's important. I wore a skirt, Topshop jumper that fitted well (ie not clingy), to me the main thing, and a Zara jacket I already had. My DD thought I looked great.

Unless you really want a dress, I wouldn't limit your options.
Honestly, my DS graduated in the summer and there was a complete range of outfits from jeans to society wedding!
Wear something you're going to be comfortable in. Layers are good and comfortable footwear.
