Is there such a thing as a buggy for twins that is NOT in a side by side sty-lie?

My brother and his dp are having twins in August and want something that is not 22 feet wide to push the twins around in. They already have 2 children under 3 and need something easy to manoeuvre.

TIA

Ah fab MMJ, who makes that then?

Is there anything like the Phil and Teds, or is that too much to ask?

there is a jane power tandem and a new one called zoom which is quite pricey but amazing! also graco do one now called city tour duo or something like that.

This looks quite like a single, until you spot the second seat at the back. I saw this being used with a buggy pod (so space for 3 to travel).

I have no first-hand experience mind you.

I did know someone with a 4-seater - it looked really smart. I'll see if I can find a picture.

bethoo · 22/04/2008 22:56

blimey nobiggy that is compact though i am looking for tandem it can only be used from 6 months at the back which is a shame!
i hear that though the jane power is good it is also heavy and hard to lift onto kerbs etc.

NoBiggy · 22/04/2008 23:01

Can't find the 4-seater - it was like a side-by-side twin then there were two seats facing backwards - sort of in the same position as on a shopping trolley if that makes sense.

But this kicks butt!

WanderingTrolley · 22/04/2008 23:01

I have driven a Jane powertwin.
I heart it, and I speak as one who has shoved many a double buggy around unforgiving streets, shopping centres and parks. I also heart the phil and ted's.

Room for 6

dizzydixies · 22/04/2008 23:03

bethoo · 22/04/2008 23:06

NoBiggy · 22/04/2008 23:08

look up zoom tandem, they are gorgeous adn i would love one if i had the cash to spare! the seats can be positioned either facing forward or rear os they can both face you, the front or each other!

NoBiggy · 22/04/2008 23:21

That's unusual - have you seen it in use?

bethoo · 22/04/2008 23:21

no but it looks good dont you think?

bethoo · 22/04/2008 23:22

i dont think it is out yet

NoBiggy · 22/04/2008 23:22

It looks very striking.

bethoo · 22/04/2008 23:24

i think it is nice how the siblings can interact with each other, may lead to quieter more peaceful days out!
