Rucksack Issues

My child has managed to go through about 5 rucksacks since starting secondary school. No matter what they can't even last a while year. I'm so fed up as they're never cheap but the amount of books they need to carry means that's the only bag option.
The zips go, the lining dissolves, the straps break, the buckle clips fail off. It's just driving me mad.
Who can recommend something that will actually last for a couple of years of daily use?
Thanks

Well maybe something like a kindle fire and not an e-reader could replace the physical books and could access the internet as well and that would save a lot of space. Maybe a chrome book or something like that instead of loads of note pads and just one note pad incase they really need to write something down

I’m not sure there’s any bags made to withstand a ton of weight. Why don’t you ask the school for PDF versions or get free online versions of the books from an archive

School books for writing in i think. Most schools don't allow electronics as likely to get stolen broken or lost. Can't help with the bag issue. Maybe a sports type brand would be nice and strong?

Mine use Jansport Big Student backpack. One of the bags is at least 3 years old now and still looks fine.

What relevance is that. Kids in schools aren’t the only ones who own bags or use them
