how do u use them for a young baby ur not sposed to till they are 18mths old but have heard alot of people do and want to know how u do it and how u can put a carseat in a spokey jo topp trailer please

im sure ours said from 9 months or when baby can sit up unaided - it has a 5 point harness in it so fastened similar to a stroller but goes ermm a toot faster! My boy loves his and my dd now 5 would stil go in it if i let her!

he bounces aroung loads and he doesn't look comfy so not happy with him in it mine says 18mths up but alot of people say u can put a seat in there but dunna how lol

It depends on the trailer. We used one at centerparcs which was OK from 6 months (think the make was Birley), ie once they can hold their head up, but then tried to hire in France and could only find them suitable from 18 months. The French one really bounced around however we managed to strap ds2's car seat in it and then it was fine for him but then would only fit one child rather than 2.

thanks birdy arms i have heard that the burleys are very good but expensive how did u strap the carseat in please was it a carry one

Carseat was a rear facing carry one - we strapped it in forward facing - don't remember exactly how but just fiddled about using the straps in the trailer. Wasn't difficult to do and it did seem extremely secure. I'd searched some threads on here that advised that before we went and the man in the shop also suggested it.

ok thanks i will have to have a play with the straps do u know what make it was the seat as i think my one is a bit bigger than the others a mamas and papas one might have to get a new seat thanks

Was a maxi cosi seat but seemed to be quite a bit of room - probably depends more on the make of the trailer and I don't remember that.
