On the hunt for the perfect leggings, please help

I am on the hunt for a pair of everyday leggings for working from home and runing around after the kids. Anyone have any recommendations?

I'm petite (5ft 3) so need ones that don't run long and don't want them to be too sporty or to thin/see through but also comfy to wear all day

Have a look at the sketchers ones. I'm tall and they are supposed to be 7/8 length but are on the short side. They are very durable and comfy, wash and wear really well (and have very useful pockets guided in the side of the leg). I live in mine for working out, running around etc.
My friend swears by the uniqlo ones but they are really short for me, I'm not sure how they'd be for you, they come very well recommended though. They are more the peach skin soft touch feel, I think most stuff from there is good quality, it's just a shame they don't fit me.
