Dd1 (4.1) needs some new shoe's and she has asked for....

Summer boots

Is there such a thing?

She is rather atatched to her winter boots which are worn out, she if refussing sandles and tends to fall over in crocs.

Where (if anywhere) can i get summer boots?

Oh and not too expencive

Aww i thought you were going to say lelli kelli's My dd had some lovely baseball boots last yr, wore them all summer...i'll look for a link, but we did get them in italy....

Baseball boots would be great, will they fit on dd's wide feet? They allways look thin fitting.

nope can't find link, the make was 'lulu' loads of other baseball boots around in next etc....or always lelli kelli's if you're into those kind of things....

x-posts marne, yeah my dd is wide too... they are always ok as you can open them wide at that point..i guess some are narrower than others... Oh, and also you can get them with zips down the side (the lulu ones had them that's why i thought i'd try and find some for you) or velcro straps as they are a PITA to do up quickly without.., HTH

You said she loves her 'winter' boots, she therfore wants some 'summer' boots. Does that make sense?

Boden also do the canvas style boots. I've had my converse trainers for going on 4 years. I wear them a lot. They're very hardwearing, and they last. Totally worth the money imho.

Lookatthelottie, Dd and i were talking, i said 'i think its time we bought you some summer shoes, maybe some sandals' dd said 'i dont want new shoe's ,my winter boots are fine' i said 'but its almost summer so you need summer shoe's' dd said 'well i dont want summer shoe's and i don't want sandals as sand gets in them, i want some summer boots like my winter boots'.

Not evrything a 4 year old says makes sense

Dd has aspergers and will refuse to walk if i dont get her some shoe's that fit the bill. Last year she got sand in her sandals and refused to walk on the beach , we bought her some croc's but she fell over in them and she now thinks they are dangerous

I think we will have to go for the baseball boots.
