I've had a Nectar card for over a decade, but only really use it to collect points at Sainsburys with my online shop.
Since registering the Nectar card with Sainsburys I've since lost it somewhere in the various drawers/cupboards/boxes of junk, as I never use it in physical shops.
I've lost the number, but on checking my Sainsburys online receipt this morning I discovered I have more than 12,000 points - £62 worth on the card!!!
I could only get through to a robot on the phone - although the online site recognised my details, sent me a code, I changed the forgotten password, it won't let me log in.
Apparently there's a new card on its way.
But the text message confirming this is a completely different number to my old one - I can only access part of the long number online.
Does anyone know if the points accumulated will automatically transfer over to the new card with the new number?
