I need a dress for a black tie reunion type event in the autumn. I’m not bothered about being slightly ‘under-dressed’ it’s more important to me to be elegant/sexy/cool in front of people I haven’t seen for a long time (possible to be all 3?!). Shallow I know.
After 3 kids and living in a fairly remote area I’m pretty out of touch but used to like clothes and dressing up. I’m 5’10’ and a slim size 10/12 so I think I can wear a lot of styles but for various reasons self conscious about showing skin so would prefer sleeves, not backless etc. Open to print or colour.
would spend up to about £200 for the right thing, or try to get second hand.
