When will my DD learn to bounce in her jumperoo?

My 5 month DD has just been lucky enough to gain a Fisher Price jumperoo, she likes all the lights, music and animals but doesn't push with her feet and so no bouncing.

She has had it over a week, she pushes with one lot of toes only and ends up moving sideways, not up and down! Anybody else with a DC that took some time to get the hang of the jumperoo?

Thanks sazm, I was giving up hope that anybody would reply!

I've give my DD more time , I'm just keen for her to have all the bouncing fun she can get!

DS just slumped in it at first (although he was a bit young for it at 3 months (although he is huge for his age!)), but within a week was bouncing like mad - he goes absolutely mental sometimes!

Ds never, ever jumped in his - he just sat in it, looked perplexed & swivelled round in circles. Dd started bouncing in about a week...
