Sansonite pop-up travel cot

Has anyone tried the Samsonite pop-up travel cot? I don't mean the bassinet type one (which is recommended up to 6 months), but the one that looks more like a tent beach shelter.

It's recommended for up to 18 months, but I'm not convinced it will hold in a crawling (or walking) child.

Thanks!

Bought the big one for 10 month old DD. She slept in it quite happily for a month while we were in the States in December. Had the little one too when she was born as a 'day bed'.

I think it would contain a bigger child well but it depends on the type of child IYKWIM. DS for example has always been a good sleeper and once put in his cot in goes his thumb and he's off to sleep. Other children may fight to get out.

Might be worth doing a trial run at home before you use it for a trip.

BTW - it need to be put on something soft as the mattress is very thin. We used a bed mattress on the floor and DD isn't a wriggler so she was quite secure.
