What car would you recommend and why?

I am going to change my car - although we only have one DS, we also have a DSS who is with us regularly, and there isn't room in my Polo for all of us and our camping gear.
I don't need a mummybus, but am looking for opinions on something a bit bigger than a Polo. What would you go for?
I like the idea of the Golf Plus - any disadvantages? And I confess I like the look of the Chrysler PT so please tell me what's wrong with that as well.

I love my Mazda 5: sliding doors are genius with children. It has two full size seats in the back with a middle 'occasional' seat, so the two main seats have lots of wiggle room. And then there's two fold up seats in the boot for friends etc... When they're folded down, the boot is MASSIVE.

The whole lots folds flat to turn it into a van for trips to IKEA etc...

Oh, and did I mention the sliding doors at the back? If you have even the remotest hint of a bad back, you will love the SLIDING DOORS...

And it looks fabulous also.
