How much would you pay/have you paid to have good quality lined or interlined curtains made? I will be providing the fabric.

I had a look-through in most high street stores a few weeks ago as we'd like to have roman blinds made and they seemed to be running about 120-150 per window, but that's with the fabric included. Hope that helps.

Swedes, I got a quote from Terry's (they have a website called summat like terry's fabric online) - they have shops in Stoke and Stockport. To have 3 large sets of curtains made, including fabric (which was around 7.99 per metre), the quote came to about 450 quid...

I got quoted £476 for a roman blind at John Lewis (it was in a Jane Churchill fabric which is quite expensive - say £40 per metre, but would have only need two metres, tops). I decided to think again as I have two windows and nearly £1,000 for a pair of kitchen blinds is sort of silly isn't it.

The going rate here seems to be £280 for double width (2.2metres each curtain) floor length (2.3m) plus the cost of the lining, interlining and fabric. (this is for standard 3" pencil pleats)

I know Terry's do online ordering/making up and will send out decent sized swatches - I think it's a UK wide service. And I don't work for them, honest!
