Which roller skate for a 5 year old?

Ds wants skates for his 5th birthday and I dont know where to start! Do I get 'inline skates (with a single row of wheels), quad skates (2 at front, 2 at back) or what about those heelies?

Any suggestions most welcome

At that age i would say quad skates. DD1 (4) has some that convert to inline but her ankles aren't strong enough to hold her upright in inline mode.
