Foam, Metal or Futon?

What is the best for an occasional bed for the DC's room to be used once a month say for a few nights, usually by my (nearly 60 yr old ) mum? TIA!

not a futon for a 60 year old I would say

Futons are SO uncomfortable. Metal most comfy but as only for few nights you might get away with foam.
