Which of these would you recommend for a 12 month old? I love the looks of the Ziko (Buttonbox is lush!) but would the SC be more sturdy/practical? The price is quite similar second hand. Any advice?

i have not had a ziko, but just sold a pop on ebay. i didnt like it. it was really hard to push and steer with my 2.5 dd in. it may be better with your younger child.
i now have another maclaren and i really dont think you can beat them.

Ive got a Ziko bubblegum,n very lovely, the only thing and they may have fixed it is that the zip on the cosy toes only comes up 2/3rds of the way on 1side. its a real pain as i still have to put a blanket under the cosy to cover her legs dd7minths. Also and i know its most of the M&P prams but its gor the floating harmess that i can never get quite right, she always slopes to the side. saying that i think for an older 1 it would be fine. I live mine its sooooo light and still shiny!!
