Gap maybe, my daughter has a nice messenger style bag from there but I think they do rucksacks too - good luck

geekgirl · 11/04/2008 09:33

I got dd1 a very nice surfy backpack from TK Maxx for about 4 quid, it even included a pencil case and a ruler.

Reckon it would have cost 7 times that online.

Enid · 11/04/2008 09:35

sob

no gap
no tkmaxx

erm that'll be a no to a google one

lilac one too girly, the other one isnt really her thing

am being pathetic about it, will just have to walk around rl town on sat and get her to choose one from the pathetic array of shops on offer

OP posts:
fletchaaarr · 11/04/2008 09:46

maybe a little pricey?

Swedes · 11/04/2008 09:47

ooh now she would love the kipling one

plain with cute monkey

[struggles to justify 33.00 on rucsac and lamely thinks it might be passed down to other dds]

yes I am NSF my name went on a diet - dad is ok though short term memory seems rather questionable (he is still a grumpy old git). He has finished his radiotherapy and seems OK

TillyH · 11/04/2008 17:18

have a look at www.funkymoose.co.uk - they have got some great ones from Samsonite kids range. we got a ladybird school bag and a turtle backpack.
p.s. have a discount code you can use: FMTT08

RainingCatsandDogs · 11/04/2008 23:39

I like this boden one (dd will also not have pink/lilac/fairies etc.) and the timberland one posted before but they are both expensive for school.Oilily one on e-bay?
Dd has a samsonite ladybird at the moment but it is on the small side and a bit young for her now.I am tempted now to get her a new one but will keep a look out for any sale ones at these prices!

I bought a brand new Kipling one on ebay when DD1 started school, with postage cost me about £22 but still cheaper than normal. It lasted pretty well & she still uses it now for taking stuff to DGs but had to have a new one for primary 2. She got a Tesco one this time with matching lunch bag & water bottle. All in cost us about a tenner!

PestoMonster · 13/04/2008 17:29

If she's into ponies, then she might like

these by Sugar Cubes

mellyonion · 14/04/2008 20:16
