Portable DVd player.

thinking of getting one for dh for his hospital stays. anyone have one they recommend which is fairly cheap (worried about it being pinched) and with good battery life.

I know it's a bit cringeworthy but QVC do some and are'nt all that expensive.

think currys have got them in the sale for about £70

pricew is good for currys one, but screen is very small, think dh would moan about it (dd2 broke his glasses the other week and we havent had them replaced yet).

Cheapest one on qvc is £225!!! Not as cheap as I thought. But it's a 7" screen.

we have the venturer one from argos about 150 quid it isnt the cheapest but has a good size screen and has the bag and headphones ect with it, the cheaper one 100 quid doesnt come with bag ect, i would recommend the 150 quid one, you can also make it region free, we have taken ours on hols a few times and we use it at the breakfast bar all the time you can link it to a tv to get a better picture, battery life is about 2 hours
