I can't get the handle to move to either fold it up or flip the handle to the opposite side. Has anyone else had this problem? Devastated, as I absolutely love my Bug!

No but my friend bugaboo was broken at nursery and bugaboo collected it, fixed it and returned it for no charge, so perhaps give them a call?

Teaandcake · 10/04/2008 22:52

If it is still within its 2 year warranty period Bugaboo will sort it out.

Take it back to your retailer and they will arrange for it to go back and be repaired by Bugaboo. They may even just replace the chassis with a new one. I rang them the other day for one of my customers whose Cameleon was giving some trouble and Bugaboo are just going to replace the chassis.

HTH.

It's out of guarantee, plus we bought it in Holland so doubt I'll be able to get it repaired here. I will call them and see if they can recommend anything. Ta

def worth calling bugaboo

mustsleep · 11/04/2008 09:47

if you have no luck getting it repaors there were some chassis's for sale on ebay the other day that were about £100 instead of having to but a whole new buggy that might work?

pinkyminky · 11/04/2008 15:39

Hope you got on ok Kando. My friend bought hers online from abroad and it was just out of warranty, but Bugaboo still fixed it, so you may be in luck.

Can't find their number on the website so I've sent them an email instead! Can't remember how long the guarantee lasts for, but the pushchair is just over 2 years old. I can still use it, it's just a pain that I can't fold it down!

I had a broken wheel on my cameleon, I didn't have warranty as I bought it new on ebay.
They always recommend to take it back to the shop you bought it from and the shop will send it back to bugaboo from there.
I phoned and lied, saying that the pushchair had been a gift and I didn't know where it was purchased.
They sent me a new pair of wheels free of charge and sent a courior out to collect the faulty one, so it can be done!
The number I phoned was - 02073 855338 (this was some time ago)

Wow, that's pretty good customer service fluffydavis! Still had no reply to my email, in which I told them I'd bought the bug in Holland (should have kept my mouth shut!) Will give them a call on that number if I don't hear anything.

Well, heard back from them. Said the joints may have seized and to spray some silicone and that should sort it. If not, I have to replace the chassis Not worth me doing that as dd3 is 2 and won't be in a pushchair for much longer!
