Does anyone have one of those flip down TVs in their kitchen

We are getting a new kitchen and are thinking of treating ourselves to one of those flip down tvs that has a digital radio and cd player in it too. We only want something really small - they look really handy.

Anyone?

Never heard of them before. Am off to google.

was just thinking, twofalls, while standing in the kitchen waiting for the potatoes to boil...

If it's an under the top cupboard tv then you wouldn't have a light under that cupboard. It only occurred to me cos I have lights under all my top cupboards - to illuminate work surface.

S'ppose if you were designing a kitchen from scratch you'd make other lighting arrangements...

do you know I was just thinking about that too! We do have lights under them but we have got quite a long wall of wall units so perhaps one less light wouldn't matter...

You have got me thinking though.

my kitchen is only eight years old and such good quality that I can't justify buying a new one yet...even though I would do it all differently next time...i.e have an island (big kitchen), have an eye level oven, have more drawers and less cupboards, etc..

and probably a flip down tv!!

have you decided which one?
