Is my bedding to girly?

the ophelia range if the link does not work

I bought for our room, dp hates white bedding which is what we had before so I thought I would get something with more colour. It has just arrived and now I am thinking perhaps it is too girly.

well DH would have a pink fit
yours may be more forgiving

JL have nice striped things

Twinkie1 · 08/04/2008 12:34

Nooo I think it is lovely - DH likes chintzy bedlinen - the weirdo!

Disenchanted · 08/04/2008 12:34

My beddings bright pink, i paid for it.

If DH wants something more neutral he can buy it

OverMyDeadBody · 08/04/2008 12:37

I don't think it is overly girly tbh. Why doesn't your DP like white?

Enid · 08/04/2008 12:38

no I quite like paisley - we have something similarish from Zara - ours is a bit more Moroccany though, possibly yours is slightly girly

hana · 08/04/2008 12:40

have only white bedding in our room incl duvet and waffle blankets.

I think your link is girly, it's very nice tho!

Enid · 08/04/2008 12:42

I dont like white bedding either

white sheets and pillowcases acceptable

white duvet etc just dull as hell

TheFallenMadonna · 08/04/2008 12:43

I like it. I want it...

DH wouldn't be bothered.

But then he wouldn't worry about white either.

TrinityTheProgressingRhino · 08/04/2008 12:43

not too girly at all
too expenisive maybe

burstingbug · 08/04/2008 12:48

I like it, DH would like it. But I think the pattern is a bit too busy tho.

I am as anti-pink and anti-girly as you can get but I quite like this.

My DH would hate it though. Got to be plain or striped bedding or we'll be sleeping in separate boudoirs

hana · 08/04/2008 13:01

nah....not dull at all. is lovely bright loft room with lovely pics on some walls and plenty of light.

Flum · 08/04/2008 13:08

Oooh be like sleeping in a sofa.

White, white, white. How can you hate white bedding. Anything else if you are over the age of 16 is in my opinion simply innappropriate.

Imagine if you went to a hotel and they had flowery bed linen!

I don;t want everyone to agree with me!

I don;t know how you can hate white bedding, he says it makes him feel like he is sleeping in a hospital.

The pattern is quite busy but we have a throw and cushions etc to break it up.

Mine is quite forgiving!

Twiglett · 08/04/2008 13:18

god, it's too girly for me

twinsetandpearls · 08/04/2008 13:18

I thought it was the least girly option from my short list, I am the dominant one in the bedroom

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 08/04/2008 13:19

Just as well I am not inviting you to my boudoir then!

I am not telling him it is from Monsoon, I am thinking if inventing a very manly sounding store where I bought it from.

OP posts:
hana · 08/04/2008 13:31

MANsoon then

twinsetandpearls · 08/04/2008 13:56

I was thinking of blokes bedding depot.

it arrived this afternoon, dp wasn't over the moon but once it was all on the bed with the throws and cushions he was quite happy.
