First baby shoes - advice!

Hi!
Little one is just closing up on a year and will be ready to start walking outside (with a bit of help) soon. Ideally keeping her barefoot at all times, but need to get some sort of footwear as well, and really stumped for how to go about that! Don't feel very confident buying baby shoes online... I've read I should het her feet measured, but no idea where to do that. We live in North London btw. Any advice is super welcome!
Thanks so!

We used Clark’s - They’ll measure their feet and have the option of pre-walkers if LO is quite new to walking.

If Clarks still do Doodles, they are a good alternative to shoes. Still soft and flexible but a bit harder wearing than the pre walkers. You are right, bare foot is best.
Just please make sure they are fitted correctly and no trainers, converse etc as first shoes, they are just not flexible for little developing feet
