Have one at home. New 2001, had a few ordinary probs, but took out a warranty which has worked fine.

It looks really good, doesn't it? Not the same thing I know but we have lots of HP printers at work and they're always pretty solid and reliable.

Dh works for HP and we bought a Dell computer to use at home! Dell offer better customer service apparently. Even with a staff discount dh thought that Dell are better value for basic home use. HP are better for businesses and printers. However, the spec and price do seem like a good deal on this one. HTH

My dh sells computers and he says that in his opinion- 'Hewlett Packard are very good but don't mix up with Packard bell who are pants'

yg- it looks as if the speakers are in the monitor- so you may not need external speakers. if you do then the ones you have will probably do the job
