I sold an item on Vinted for £32 and sent it straight away. The buyer chose home delivery through in post. I have been tracking the item and it states they have been to the home twice and left a not at home card.
when I spoke to the buyer they seem unfazed by this and I explained that they have attempted twice. I then said will you be at home today because they are attempting to deliver again to which her response was no.
Vinted then sent me an email to say it seems your package is taking longer to arrive but don’t worry we will send you a £20 compensation if it is lost. £20 won’t cover the item so I am confused as you can’t speak to a real person without jumping through hoops on Vinted so I’m wondering what to do. Doesn’t seem fair that I should lose £12 because the buyer isn’t fazed and they will receive a full refund!
