maclaren xlr v. xt

Am now debating with dh which of these two we go for (want it for baby from birth) - he is inclined to go for xt as lighter/more adjustable . The only thing that puts me off is that it doesn't come with a foot muff and if you buy an xt one new its another 50 quid on top. The xlr is a little more but doesnt seem to be noticeably heavier/harder to use and comes with all the kit.

Anyone got one/other and any opinions esp about kitting out the xt ?

XLR is supposed to be quite a bit bigger and heavier.

I think you can put a carseat on the XLR if you want.

I would go with teh XT and get a seperare foot muff unless you want it as a travel system.
