From another mn post have seen Lidl is having a big sale on baby stuff next week including nappies. Has anyone used them and could tell me if its worth stocking up?

Thanks

Lidl nappies are fantastic.
Have used them for ds, 20m, since birth.
When does the sale start?

Lidl nappies are fantastic

TheOriginalXENA · 05/04/2008 16:06

really? I did briefly use Tesco's own. But they left DS wet.

RubySlippers · 05/04/2008 16:06

lidl nappies are BRILL

highly recommend them

kiskideesameanoldmother · 05/04/2008 16:12

i used them with dd till she was out of nappies. she was allergic to pampers and besides, they and huggies are too expensive. they used to be called 'cien' but i think this is a very recent namechange. the only real difference i found with them is that they have a bit more pulp (so bulkier) and less of the drying agent. a good thing, imo.

Walkthedinosaur · 05/04/2008 16:20

They're brill go for them!

hairtwiddler · 05/04/2008 16:23

I'd recommend them. Have used them with DD for ages and they're very good.

MilaMae · 05/04/2008 19:47

Do they do them in size 6???

Ambi · 05/04/2008 19:51

Tesco's own are rubbish (& huggies & pampers) Lidl's own are the best we've tried, they are pretty reasonable at normal price, 54 for £4.99. They do size 3 upwards, they have a colour change strip on them which tells you if they're wet without opening. Not sure of size 6 as DD is only 3 months old..

MadameCh0let · 05/04/2008 19:53

I buy 'cien' nappies from Lidl. You get about 56 for 9 euro 50 cents (can't do euro symbol). Much cheaper than known brands.

They're OK too. My son is the poo maestro. If they're good enough for him they're good enough!!

ExtraFancy · 05/04/2008 19:54

My friend uses these and says they are fantastic. She gave me one to try on my DS, who is the Heavy Wetting Champion - still not found a nappy that will last all night, and he's only 8 months old!

just checking out my local lidl leaflet & says
size 6 16-30kg 35-66lbs junior pants 18 for £3.59
sale starts monday where i am. have sleeping bags for £5.99, highchairs, buggies, bottle warmers.

staryeyed · 05/04/2008 20:13

Yep we use them. Very good nappies.

MilaMae- I dont think they go to size 6 I think 5 is the biggest.

MilaMae · 05/04/2008 20:13
