DH and I have just found out I am expecting our second babdy in December. DD will be 2yrs 4 months.

DH is obsessed with practicalities (do we need a new car, buggy, house????). I promised I would do some research.

Do you think we will need a double buggy with a newborn and a 2 and a bit year old? I am out and about a lot and currently DD uses her buggy loads, will this have changed much in 8 months?

I think you probably will. Although your DD will probably want to walk a lot more than she does now, she will still get tired, and will want you to carry her while pushing the buggy. We have a Phil and Ted's and have recently stopped using it much, DS is almost three. I still take it shopping though!
