Just wanted some sling advice really - we do lots of dog walking so ideally want something where baby is really secure and can use from the start - think have decided want a stretchy wrap and been looking here - www.bigmamaslings.co.uk/zen-cart/wraparound-slings-stretchy-wraparound-slings-c-10_49_87.html

BUT is there really any difference between them? do they do different things? are some better than others? would you recommend anything else?

help!!!

I only have one, but am very happy with my moby wrap, can't see how there could be much difference

stretchy wrap arounds work well for those new to wrapping and tiny babies. you can leave it on as you pop baby in and out during the day and it is forgiving if you tie too tight or too slack.

they only work till babies reach a certain weight. I think around 15-20 lbs as they lycra makes them stretch too much so the baby's starts to pull on your shoulders.

a woven wrap sling will last to 3yo. stretchy wraps and woven wraps have good resale value so it is worth taking the plunge imo. and bigmamaslings is highly recommended
