A nice baby blanket?

My Granny can't get to the shops and has sent us some money - she'd like us to buy the baby a nice blanket.

Love this idea, but can't find anything I love.

Obviously needs to be practical (no dry clean only).
I quite like bright colours.

Up to £25, though this seems a lot to spend on a blanket to me, and I'd be happy to get something cheaper and buy something else with the change.

Can anyone point me to a nice one or a nice shop?

I looked and looked before dd1 was born - tis hard work! Have you tried The White Company - they have some nice things? Or how about these

Why not ask one of the MN knitters on A&C to make you one?

Knitted blankies are my favourites, my boys have one each courtesy of DH's lovely aunt; DS1 has a bright patchwork one and DS2 has a stripey one.

My friend bought me a lovely fleece hooded blanket which is great because it washes easily and is light and I quite often use the hood bit (now he's older as a cosy toes.

You can get them for about 20 quid online
