Wool mattresses - any good?

I’d like to buy a wool mattress (eg naturalmat/ woolroom) but I’ve never tried a wool mattress. Does anyone have one and can give an honest review?

I like a firm mattress, are the firm ones actually firm?

thanks

They are dense and firm in their structure, but softly padded at the same time. Woolroom do have different ones - regular and firm.

Not had ours long so will be interested to see how it wears but its turnable so will be doing that religiously.

I have a wool mattress. Definitely worth it, it’s very very comfy. But make sure it’s fully turnable as some of them aren’t, so you have wool on both sides. They’re heavy though so get help when you flip it 😄. Mine was from Floks, and it’s a regular firmness which is perfect for me. Still feels firm but without being too solid.
