I recently discovered Essie nailpolish and how much better it is (in my opinion) than the other polishes I've tried. I love having colourful nails, I've had then done professionally before but I didn't like how they made my natural nails more brittle (and the expense) so I wanted to stick to DIY, but a lot of the polishes I've used (barry M etc) took ages to dry or chipped instantly. It was always so frustrating, but recently I tried Essie and noticed a big difference in both how fast it sets and how much longer it seems to last. It also doesn't seem to be too drying and my nails aren't too bad when I remove them. Although I have also been trying to use hand cream more recently too. I naturally have short weak nails, but with beauty micronutrient tablets (perfectil) and hand cream I've managed to grow them much longer and stronger than they used to be.
I'm going on holiday soon so I've got 3 summery essie colours I'll alternate between, and one of those little plastic pots of polish remover pads.
Have you found something recently you were pleasantly surprised about? Could be beauty related or something else? Would be nice to share, especially since holiday season is upon us.
