I have an icandy apple and have just got the maxi cosi cabrio fix seat to go with it.

I have worked out how to use the adaptors ok but they are really stiff to use - any advice on how to make them easier?

also do you leave the adaptors on the seat or on the pushchair? which is easiest?

We had the Cabrio on the Apple too. Even after using it for 16 months (DD was small enough to still fit in it when required!) it was still pretty stiff. I don't think the seat will 'sit' properly in the car if you leave them on the seat. I used to leave them attached to the pushchair unless we were actually using the pushchair chair (iykwim!). Even after using it for so long, I'd still manage to press the wrong button on the seat and end up trying to tug the thing off to no avail.

We called icandy and they said that they can be left attahced to the car seat and unclipped fromt he frame one at a time? We do have a Cherry though so might be different?

Yes, ours on the ICandy Cherry were stiff as well - I think it is because the pram and car seat are compatible, but not made by the same manufacturer, so if you had the Cabrio on a Quinny or MaxiCosi pram, it would hopefully work more smoothly! I regularly used to struggle at school to get the damn car seat off the frame!!!!

We left the adaptors on the car seat, as it didnt affect its use in the car, so I guess that will depend upon which car you have!

Thanks everyone

will try out leaving adaptors on the car seat and see if it works in the car
