i have just sorted her bricks, which she loves, they are up to 3 years. any ideas on the next level of bricks, what do your dds love.
she loves crafty things and board games, not electronic stuff or dolls. she has cash for easter and i need ideas in some new stimulating toys please.

dolls house? Sylvanian Families? My DD has some Playmobil which she plays with every single day without fail. Other than that, she likes to dress up, boss her dollies and brother around, draw, look at books, and pester her brother.

dd1 is 3.6 loves her

dolls house
Doctors set

Builders set (my Dad is a builder so she normally plays that if she is with my parents!)

dressing up especially play shoes/hats/bags

bossing her mates or dd2 around

play kitchen with food and till (although I get bored of pretending to do shopping/ordering food at cafe )

Her disney prince/princess dolls (like barbie) she spends hours making stories up and brushing their hair etc

theres a lovely playmobil dolls house too,a little one that folds away into itself and the stuff stores inside it,it looks great(about £20 im sure), my dd(2) has a wooden dolls house from woolworths and she plays with it all the time as does her brother (4)lol.
woolworths have a nice dolls house in their book a plastic one its about £20 i think.thats the one i wanted for my dd but it was out of stock at xmas.
my ds has the playmobil farm and loves it.

ELC do some fantastic jigsaws, dd loved them at that age.

My dd is also 3.9 and loves her dolls house, tea set, train set (wooden brio type affair), dressing up.

Anything to do with make believe really

sazm · 01/04/2008 17:13

oh yep we have a wooden trainset, some is brio but most is tesco stuff, the kids tend to buy one train (about 80p) each time we go shopping, its a big hit with them both.
as is their play kitchen and shop.
