for dd (aged 4). Her room is very small. Its a funny shaped room as it has a floor to ceiling built in cupboard that I cant remove (houses the boiler).

A normal bed would take up most of the room and possibly leave enough space for one bedside cabinet so it has to have storage underneath (as much as possible) but obviously not be too high. A normal length bed will just about fit but i'd prefer a smaller one. Ideally with a ladder that doesn't stick out into the room. Colour not too important although im not so keen on the traditional looking pine things. Nothing with a desk, we need drawers or space for toy boxes, cupboard doors would do better to be sliding as not much space to open them. Throw in the window because I dont want to completely block it for safety reasons and the plug socket underneath which needs to be easy (ish) to reach as I dont leave things plugged in at night.

(Dont want much do I?)

I have seen some short cabin beds on a website but they are over £300 and I cant afford that .

Does anyone know where I can find said item?

Ikea do junior beds that you can lenghten as your child grows. No storage though
