ah right... i think we are approaching potty training time. so is that what you do, then, make sure they've got something underneath them in the car seat? i'd never have thought of that, ta.

cheesesarnie · 30/03/2008 21:16

Aitch- i always forget until someone asks what to put under lo in carseats then i remember!thankgod for washing machines.

oregonianabroad · 30/03/2008 21:18

hey, i had never thought of that!

I don't need to use something purpose-made, I could actually just use a flannel!!

No good at links but just found on boots.com. Search for Wetec car seat protector - and they are 50% off - now £3.50. They work well - I've got one in the car seat and one in the buggy - made me brave enough to risk going out without putting Pull Ups on DD in the early days of potty training.

Aitch · 30/03/2008 21:22

cheesesarnie.

i have some bed pad things i nicked from the hospital when i had dd and i've been too mean to throw them out, i'm gonna use them. sorted.

cheesesarnie · 30/03/2008 21:24

my mil did actually suggest a santiry pad for ds one day.might work

horsemadgal · 30/03/2008 22:53

The wetec ones never worked for DS's massive wees. Might be fine for just dribbles though.
We use buppy pads now here
