We want to buy a trampoline but have no clue what to buy. We have a 2 year old and we want her to be able to get on it with one of us - so suspect it needs to be quite big. We could buy one just for her but not sure we save that much by doing so? So will probablyy get one where we can get on it too.

They seem to range in price from about £90 to £600 and I can't really see what the difference is. It must have a net too. Obviously whether a net or cover is included or not will also impact the total spend. Please can some kind knowledgeble person let me know what they think I should buy. Obviously the cheaper the better but happy to pay more for something that is going to last and is safer. Links to any review site would also be appreciated. If I have posted this on the wrong forum can someone please tell me where it should go. Thanks.

We bought this one for our ds.He loves it.He can get on and off of it himself as it's low and is not too large to take over the garden.

We've just bought the second one on the list from this company delivery was quick, its big but not too big and a bit lower so my DD 5 and DS 2 can get on and off on their own, the cover and enclosure are included. Was delivered in 3 days too! Hope this helps.

We've got this Argos onehere

Had it for 2 years, its been abused by so many kids (and adults!) and no problems whatsoever. Its plenty big enough for adults too.

Sure you already know but just be careful about letting people of different weights use them at the same time.. thats how a lot of Trampolinee injuries are caused..

I've also decided to get a trampoline for the dc's in time for the school holidays. Am a bit overwhelmed by the different options available.

Some have the safety net inside the springs, some outside, different number of legs, etc.

Am looking for a 12ft one.

Also - most advise to have one person at a time, is this true?

we bought the same one as nobodysfool for our dd's 2nd b'day, its GREAT she and her 4yo brother play on it all the time. she has fell climbing in and out of it,but thankfully its not high so she didnt hurt herself.im SO glad we bought this instead of a full sized one,it will do them a couple of years at least.

also i dont really think it matters on most of the options, theres a mat that goes around it to cover the springs anyway, and they all say one person at a time as obv. its more dangerous to have more than one dc on it as they might crashinto each other.

They all say one person at a time as their "get out of jail" card if accidents happen I suppose.

Saying that I have a rule on ours where I do allow a maximum of 4 DC's at a time (ours is a big one) and they've got to be approx the same weights..so all the older ones together then all the younger ones. The kids all know the rule and abide by it..no horrific accidents yet, although you do have to keep an eye out as the boys like to turn it into a 'wrestling ring'!.

We also bought the same trampoline as Laylaandsethsmum from Outdoor Toys Direct.
My little ones are out on it as i type!
Reasonable price, excellent quality, holds adults and children and was delivered in 5 days.It has a net round it with clippers to secure them in .One of the best things we've bought and great for if you want to have a bounce and nosey into next doors kitchen window
