I like the look of this -- anyone have any advice?

1 review said something about the wheel coming off, but most reviews seem positive.

Also, I can't seem to find it other than online -- does anyone know which shops carry it (I'm in the NE).

Thanks.

Some shops do stock it. Have seen it in one near Manchester - not much use for you!

I had one and found it hard to push, and impossible to push one handed (need free hand to keep hold of DD). Also a bit flimsy, but I am used to a very solid Mountain Buggy 3-wheeler. I sold it & got a Zapp instead.

One of the wheels often popped off when I was getting it in/out of the boot.

It is lightweight though, and folds small.

I just bought one and love it. Its really light and easy to fold plus the suspension is nice and bouncy.

I got mine online from preciouslittleone as they offered a refund if not happy with it.

OK, now I'm confused -- you prefer it to the Zapp, Amazonian? Everyone on my Zapp thread said the Zia was better! (Argghh).

I do have an Urban Detour 3 wheeler for heavier trips, this is just for holidays and whipping round the shops.

Glad you liked yours, Kbaby, will check the site you recommend, thanks!

No, I prefer the Zapp. The wheel popped off the Zia. Sorry, wasn't very clear!

Of course if you really want the recline feature, the Zia is better. I don't need it for short trips, so the Zapp is perfect.

Thanks for your advice, amazonian. The wheel sounds a bit tricky on the Zia! One last question, aren't the handles the same on the Zapp and Zia?

can I jump in with one other suggestion? I was looking at the zapp but didn't like the no recline feature and centred front wheel so we got a bruin presto and have been very happy with it too!

bruin presto

Hey, that's nice, dizzy. Does it fold up like a McLaren (so it is long & thin)?

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 31/03/2008 10:35

it kind of folds itself over in half - not a compact as the zapp but still good

oregonianabroad · 31/03/2008 10:44

Might sneak over to toys r us and have a test drive, thanks for that!

no problem, we got our red one last year for holidays and it just stays in the boot of the car. Toys R us also easy enough to find or order from online

amazonianwoman · 31/03/2008 14:09

Handles on Zapp and Zia are similar design, but a bit higher on the Zapp (I'm v tall though) and just kind of angled better

oregonianabroad · 01/04/2008 15:09

Thanks, Amazonian.
